ok. i'm going to step to call a san francisco brownie troop meeting. which makes me the troop dominatrix, i guess.
kari suggests sunday may 1st, which is mayday, and also the how-weird street fair -- we could actually meet up there, which has the added benefit of music and a carnival atmosphere (two of my favorite things)
who's in for a may 1st meet-up? we can talk about what kind of patches to make from the sf troop (which i hope we can agree is 669, since i already got the numbers for my sash ;^)

Wed, April 21, 2004 - 2:10 PMAre there enough South Bay Girls to warrant Troop 5150 in addition to Troop 669 in SF? If there aren't, I need to start making travel arrangements to get up to the City for this. If there are, we should think about a time and place to get together ourselves....

I'm somewhat up for meeting at the faire- at least just for a meeting intially- not for discussion of what to do :) but I do want to meet y'all. I will look for you on the dancefloor at 3- friends of mine are bellydancing then.
I would also like to get together one night to talk about plans, but I am supah busy these days and then I'm off to Oaklahoma City for 4 nights then driving to Flipside burn in Texas, so I'm not really available until mid June. I also don't have my uniform and won't until I head back to mom's in Canada in June or July.

Sun, May 2, 2004 - 9:18 PMSo I totally failed to look for you. But now that I'm thinking about it I don't remember seeing anyone with red dreads. I danced my ass off from 1:15 to 8 when it ended, and I am soooo sore today (good though). I had my hair braided into two loops with wire and a boa around them and a blue and white 60's go go dress on with white fishnets- perhaps you saw me and didn't know it was me.
Not sure when I can get together though... off to Flipside as of mid month- we're gong to drive to Texas and take it easy going down the coast to hang with some other burners. I will be back the second week of June though :)

Mon, May 3, 2004 - 10:30 PMi too am a loser, because i wasn't where i said -- when i realized there were four dance areas, i sort of gave up. i was ther all day though... and shit -- i just looked at your photos, i was dancing behind you at the space cowboys breaks stage for a long time -- you hugged my friend ian at one point. damn!
next time -- we will meet -- and any sf scouts who want to get going on patches and activities or whatever you want... speak up! let's get on it! -

Only Sunday July 11th works for me if we combine it with another thing that I have to do.... I am in charge of distributing invites to my community for an upcoming event mid July. I have already agreed to be hanging out on Hippie Hill in Golden Gate Park from noon til 3:30.
It would be a great place to meet anyways, especially if it's a nice day out! If it's not nice I will be at my place in the Mission which is close to the 24th BART and I would be totally open to having all of you come here.

if sunday 7/11 works for steph and others, then let's aim for that. maybe we could meet there and start our meeting at 3:30 when steph is done her other thing?

(yay, looking foward to dancing with you again steph, but this time, we'll know each other ;^)

Sat, June 12, 2004 - 11:51 AMWe can meet while I do my thing! it's terribly easy and I will have another friend with me that will also be handing out invites, this will be the fourth time we're handing them out so I only expect 20 people to show at max. So can we make it earlier? I don't think that I can be in the park sitting around for 5 hours (but who knows?), come earlier!
how about 1:30 and bring some picnicky type stuff and we can hang out and chat.

Although seeing that 7/11 is a Sunday, we'd have to leave rather early due to the fact that we have to be back to work here in L.A. on Monday (5+ hour drive back, ya know).

(since steph is the one who has the need to be there at that time, hopefully she will post specific directions)
everyone welcome, we don't care where the hell you hail from.. if the l.a. crew would come up that would rock rock rock rock! in fact, we could meet for brunch ahead of time if you like, or at the very least, have a little brownie picnic.
heck, a picnic plus let's do an initiation in the park too, ok?
so mark those calendars, girls! rsvp on here if you're planning to make it, mkay? -
