hey you bad scouts,
we had our mtg last night. it was a small first turn out but alot of fun.
we talked about a girl scouts gone bad patch. on the way home i thought our symbol could be a brownie clover with the man inside and "girl scouts gone bad" and the year written around the perimetere.
also demerit badges. we think that each region should get a few badges, whether they be regular girl scout badges or made up ones. just keep us in the loop. i think i'm going to start a yahoo group.
anyway, if we each get a few different badges, we can share when we get to the burn, right.

Wed, April 14, 2004 - 12:41 PMSo, I have no means to produce such a thing, but along the lines of the numerical "cookie-sales" badge maybe we could have a "volunteered hours" or "number of burns attended" badge
The volunteered hours could even be the actual cookie sales badges - though I think they come in "100" "200" and up, so you'd all better get volunteering.
by the way, is anyone else in Chicago? -

The Man in the trefoil was the exact same idea I had.... ;-) I had been thinking of doing a separate GSGB patch along the lines of a real Council patch (the white patches at the top of the sash in this image: jfg.girlscouts.org/GS/Unifo...rsash.jpg ) - GSGB in the upper patch, with "Black Rock City 2004" in the lower patch - but your idea may be better. (I didn't think to check the patch sites we were looking at for how much extra custom shapes like that would cost....)

Excellent idea - we can put the various sites we've been looking at in the Links section, share rough drawings for demerit badges in the Files...can you tell I put way too much thought into this sort of stuff? ;-)
