Ok, so when and where? I've not been involved with any local groups, but I want to meet up at the burn - and I've been making a great uniform for myself.

they have them at aardvarks. and of course you have your boy scout scarf. if worse comes to wors you could always wear it w/ a navy blue t-shirt.

when - the earlier in the week, the more likely people will be to remember... at that time we could always plan to meet again, or organize adventures/expeditions later in the week.
where - somewhere easy so that if you haven't been before and don't know where anything is, there won't be any wondering lost girl scout(s). -

So... since my uniform is very daytime oriented... how about
Wednesday at 1pm, at the Information Center near center camp.???

Tue, July 20, 2004 - 4:37 PMthe info place is right behind the main cafe-tent-meeting place of center camp. it will be on the map you get from the greeters and it has a sign too and almost anyone will be able to help you find it in case you have problems...

Tue, July 20, 2004 - 5:15 PMi'll be working in the cafe on wednesday from 11 until 3 -- and i'll just plan to wear my brownie uniform to work -- so if you all meet up at 1, i can point to where you are, and when the burning woman meetup happens, i figure it'll take an hour before folks have it together to go out and take over the city (or whatever the plan is ;^)
of course, if the meeting were *after* the other meetup, that would be cool too, and i could actually be there like a regular person ;^) -

wearing your scout outfits all over the place and hatching all kinds of ideas.
i think center camp is an excellent idea. and the burningwoman march is good too.
i'm going to be a ranger so, i'll be reachable......the ranger way. my ranger name is frostbite but my playa name is party radar. i think i might only answer to party radar this year.
but, i think we should have a few meetings to allow for everyone's schedule. i mean, there are nearly 100 of us.
i don't know where i'm camping yet but when i find out i'm going to have you all over. -

Tue, July 27, 2004 - 11:54 PMSo, my new thoughts are: Let's all who can do so, meet at 1pm Wednesday at the info center as previously mentioned - go on to the Goddess Gathering at 2pm at center camp - and then those who couldn't join us earlier can join up and continue on through and after the Goddess stuff where/whenever that ends.
Sound good?
Anyone who knows how to do so want to submit something about this to the schedule people? (if its not too late) -
