Are there any crafty girl scouts out there who could use a pattern for the uniform?
A friend gave me a bag of vintage patterns and there is one that is perfect for a uniform. It is a Size 8 pattern, but if you're the crafty vixen type, you can probably make it work for your size.
If you want it, give me a holler and I'll mail it straight away.

Tue, July 20, 2004 - 5:17 PMthough i sew, i found it easier to just buy a brown miniskirt at the goodwill, and a brown rather jaunty corduroy cap at clothes-by-the-pound... add white lingerie and a homemade sash, and i'm set.
though for a first sewing project, anything for the playa is good since really it won't matter if it all falls apart and you end up naked, right? ;^)

Tue, July 20, 2004 - 8:52 PMWell, if you want the pattern, say so.
I can mail to Canada. And I don't recommend photocopying this one. It is a vintage pattern, probably 40-50 years old. But it can be "updated" for the BRC troop action.

Thu, July 22, 2004 - 12:17 AMhey neighbor, I didn't know you were a GSGB.
I could help you with your uni, if you'd like.
I have a sewing machine and I know how to use it. ;)
