Fri, August 13, 2004 - 1:31 AMI'm young! Yeah, 23! And I'm hot! Really! And I need an older woman to, ahem, show me the ropes! Someone nice and wholesome, with cookies and stuff!
Just follow the lighted red weather balloon down to the Bouncy Bouncy Club vodka parties every evening on the playa. Ooh, I'll need a spankin', I'm sure! ;)

Re: ebay
Mon, August 16, 2004 - 6:05 PMI tried to bid on a couple of different ones and got outbid at the last moment... also I can't really afford to go over $20. Haven't found something to substitute yet, and then went and bounght some fabric today. But I did win an auction for a beret and belt and can always wear it with my boyscouts shirt and just mix memes and genders :)
thanks for the tip!

Re: ebay
Tue, August 17, 2004 - 5:39 PMIn SF if you haven't hit most of the thrift stores earlier then now you're s.o.l. I had planned on having my uniform from home, but had to cancel my trip at the last minute cause I got some work... oh the value village- where are you located? one of my favs is in Victoria since all the old grannies there have unusual hats that get donated and there are tons of handknit toques and stuff there, more then elsewhere. I've also found great stuff at the Bathurst location in Toronto and the East Vancouver one too...

Re: ebay
Wed, August 18, 2004 - 12:35 AMa toque is a hat you wear usually during winter, but it can also be a style (think skater). usually made out of wool, sometimes polar fleece. you totally know what it is, if you saw one.
i'm in winnipeg, and have just been to 3 of the value villages around town. stay away from ones that are near a big mall - they tend to be more picked over in my experience, i guess if people are already out shopping, they decide to check it out too.
